Service Description
Monday's, Wednesday's, Friday's and Sundays Not available on Tuesday's and Saturday's Friday Booking`s are minimum half a day Session 3 Our most popular session provides space for evening meetings and events. It is used by a large selection of community groups and is often booked with Session 2 for party events. Please be advised there is a different capacity amount, based on the type of event you are having. We are happy to advise so please contact us for any clarification. Should you need the hall, tables and chairs decorating we can link you to a service that will provide the best cost for hall decoration, with a variety of colours which should meet your event needs.
Cancellation Policy
1. 1. You can apply to book the community centre in person, phone or via the MAV UK (Mothers Against Violence) website. To express intend of booking we should preferably receive a formal request of booking via our website https://www.mavuk.org/book-online , text message, phone call or WhatsApp message and confirm you intend of booking: 2. MAV UK will send you the payment details via text or WhatsApp message including all instructions and payment details.To secure your booking you should make a deposit payment. This will usually be £ 200 security holding deposit at the time of your booking and the cost of your booking at least four weeks before your event. 3. The Hall hire cost, any additional hours or items must be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the event, otherwise MAV UK have the rights to cancel your booking assuming the client is no longer interested or failed to comply with terms of hire and payment request made by MAV UK via email, text or a phone call. The client is not allowed to book additional hours on the day of their event and any additional hours requested into the 4 weeks period will be subject to approval by MAV UK management. 4. The Security Holding Deposit is separate from the hall hire cost and will be refunded after each event in up to seven working days if no terms of hire a violated.The client may lose their deposit if the following terms and conditions are violated: - Client failed to leave on time before the session end time. Please, note that your any overstay after your time of hire will incur a penalty of £150 for each hour of overstaying.Client failed to dispose of rubbish in the provided bin facilities in front of the MAV UK Building and left their rubbish inside of the premises or in front of the in facilities. A penalty of £50 will be applied.Client failed to clean the surrounding area from any litter including garden, parking, walkway or terrace area. A penalty of £25 will be imposed.Client has damaged equipment or property. The penalty will be evaluated depending on the damage including labour cost and other factors. The client might be subject to legal action. 5. No violence or antisocial behaviour will be tolerated on our premises and the full force of the law will be applied to keep the order and the local community safe. Penalty of £200 will be applied. 6. By processing further with your booking and making a deposit payment you agree to the above Terms and Conditions.
